Flight Simulator Upgrades – Project Definitions

Dover AFB, Delaware • McGuire AFB, New Jersey • MacDill AFB, Florida | $1.5m

Mission changes required that information used in the Distributed Mission Operations air crew training program be changed to a different security level. GCAG was contacted just days before the fiscal year end to complete this fast-track project. The project scope included establishment of existing conditions, definition of program requirements, development of concept design parameters and identification of construction costs to modify existing simulator facilities. Site visits to each Base were conducted the first week and the final report issued just two weeks later.

I just wanted to take a moment to pass along our appreciation for your effort on the development of the Flight Simulator Design Requirements Document. With your assistance, we had a contract in place in two days. Gulf Coast Architectural Group then had 3 weeks to submit the final Requirements Document that entailed the upgrade of Flight Simulator Facilities at MacDill AFB, Dover AFB, and McGuire AFB to meet new security standards. Site visits and interviews were required at all three installations. Even with these challenges, the final document was very detailed and resulted in a very satisfied customer. We appreciate the efforts of you and your entire team.”
